Welcome to the University of North Dakota's I.M Sports program. The program offers students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive and recreational sport activities. I.M Sports offers more than 20 different activities (men, women, and co-ed) in traditional sports such as basketball, flag football, soccer, softball, volleyball and hockey and nontraditional sports such as ultimate frisbee, inline hockey and broomball. I.M Sports hosts a variety of tournaments and special events throughout the year.

Mandatory Team Captains Meeting
The success of the Intramural Sports Program depends on the leadership of the Team Captain, since the program could not function without an individual to organize interested participants into teams. The team captain has an extremely important role as the liaison between the Intramural Staff and the members of a team. If a captain cannot attend, they must find a substitute from their team. A copy of the handbook is available online.
Please review the Team Captains Meeting Policy for more information. All team captains will be receiving an email regarding the times of the meetings.
Free Agents
An intramural free agent is a UND student, faculty or staff who wishes to participate in an intramural sponsored team activity and is not currently a member of a team. Teams may add players to their roster throughout the regular season, provided that those players have not played for another team in the same sport and division (coed, men's, women's) through the end of the regular season. It is up to the team captain to contact those who are listed on the free agent list.
