Student Wellness Advisory Committee
The purpose of the Council is to foster communication with wellness program participants in order to seek their advice and assistance in maximizing the effective use of resources for wellness activities at the University of North Dakota. (The Council shall also represent the wellness interests and needs of the students and the University community.)

Objectives
- Serve as the advisory council, with a broad representation of wellness participants, charged with providing recommendations and direction to the Wellness Center concerning all programs and services offered.
- Provide recommendations and advice for Wellness Center planning and operations.
- Provide a mechanism for the University community to voice interests and concerns regarding Wellness Center programs and services.
- Assist Wellness participants in developing
the highest possible quality of life for the
diverse needs of our students and University
community.
Duties of the Board
The charge of the Board shall include these items:
- The Council will be strictly advisory in nature.
- The entire Council sits on the Board of Appeals for the Wellness Center discipline hearings for the intramural and informal recreation programs. Three members at a time will serve on a rotating, first available basis. The Board of Appeals will meet on an as needed basis.
- All members will be encouraged to bring issues and concerns from the groups that they represent to the meetings. Members will be expected to communicate the results of the meetings to their respective groups.
- Program development and expansion.
- Program assessment.
- Long range planning related to wellness programming.
- Attend all full Council meetings.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Council Chair.
