Membership Types
Who Can Join?
All UND students, faculty/staff members, university affiliates and alumnus may all join the Wellness Center. As a member you will also be eligible to sponsor a separate membership at the same rate you pay. Sponsored members are not eligible to sponsor a separate membership.
Students | Faculty | Alumni | Grandfathered Grad | Sponsored | Osher Lifelong LearningAll students paying student fees are eligible for membership. Simply, bring in your UND ID, sign a waiver and start enjoying your membership privileges.
For those students not paying student fees or are taking a semester off you are still eligible for membership. Membership is available to you to purchase at the current student membership rate.
Any student attending the University of North Dakota for the first time is eligible for a membership after providing documentation. You will be asked to provide a letter of acceptance or prove you are registered for classes for the upcoming semester. After documentation has been provided you will be subject to pay to the current student membership rate.
As an employee of the University you are eligible to purchase a membership and/or if you are affiliated with the University. Affiliate members are recognized as partners of the University and include:
- North Dakota Museum of Art
- Grand Forks Human Nutrition Center
- Ralph Engelstad Arena
- Adjunct Faculty
- Alumni Foundation
- All recognized religious organizations who reside on campus
- Center for Innovation
- UND Bookstore
- Memorial Union Tenants
Faculty FAQ’s
As a Alum of the University you are eligible for membership after a gift of $100 or more is given to the UND Foundation. Up to 200 current members of the UND Foundation will be given this opportunity. Alumni will also be responsible for a memberships dues paid to the Wellness Center. If you have a graduated from UND or you have previously given a gift to the foundation you are than a current member of the UND Foundation.
Alumni FAQ's
Membership is offered to University graduates who have paid student fees during their academic career but left before the building opened. You will be eligible to purchase a membership until 2010.
Grandfathered Grad FAQ's
Do you have a spouse, friend, or family member who is currently a member of the UND Wellness Center? Did you know that you can enjoy a membership just like they do? It’s possible through a sponsored membership! If you are 18 years of age or older and know someone who is a member of the UND Wellness Center who is currently not sponsoring another member, you can sign up for a membership today.
